I am really glad I got this as the whole series and not one book at a time. I'm not positive I would have read more after the first book, not that it was bad , meaning it was a bit rough in places and didn't really flow well but near the middle it did seem better with not as many places seeming to be a bit rough. It's kind of hard to explain but I read a lot of books and after time you realize that a book that is really well written with a writer who is comfortable writting and does so easily, well the book has a flow to it. It's easy to read with no awkward sentences I guess is the best way to describe it. Anyways, after the first book you could tell the author was on a roll and knew where and how the book was going. The words flowed and read almost like poetry with nothing to slow you down. Heck in the last book it went so well I couldn't read fast enough!😊 Anyways a wonderful exciting series, with really well fleshed out characters. I do admit I wanted to smack Sebastian upside the head a few times too many for being so foolish and for not trusting In himself and in Serenity. I am really glad there is a series about Elisabeth too because I think her story now needs to be told and reading about her growing into a woman will be really fun. Sometimes I think she has more sense than her parents do, or at least she listens to her instincts much better! Lol anyways a good story and worth the read. The last book was so exciting and dramatic I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I'm glad this author has really come into her own with this series.Product details

I loved it couldn't put it down
good
I love this series! Serenity and Sebastian are one of my favorite couples. This is the third time I have read this amazing series.
I enjoyed the series and couldn't put it down. The characters were well developed and interesting. The plot had twists and turns and kept me reading to see what would happen next. I will be looking for more from this author!
Oh my what a wild ride. This captivating story follows an unlikely couple on their journey of love, loss, hope and despair. This story grips you from the very first chapter in the first book to the last word of the final word of the last. I highly recommend this to all the supernatural fans out there!
I bought the books as they came out and now have the box set. It is definitely worth reading a second time. I love the combining of reality with fantasy! You will want to smack Sebastian a few times but it won't stop you from falling in love with this couple!
First let me say what bothered me. This story is set in the US, California to be exact, and none of the characters are British, but the author writes in British. Saying things like 'Burgers and chips' instead of burgers and fries, 'Candy Floss' instead of Cotton candy. A store clerk asking 'Are you alright love?' instead of are you okay hun we don't call strangers 'love' we call them hun. and even more of the same. I happen to be an American living in the UK, but was born and raised in California, so I understood what she was saying, but I am afraid unless the other readers have British friends or have spent some time in the UK they may be confused.
The second thing that bothered me was, now remember I bought the set and read them like one long book, so maybe if I had read them individually I wouldn't have noticed this, but the author has to repeat things. We were told at least 4 times why Sebastian can't fly in a plane. Readers usually have good memories.
Okay so despite that, I gave the book 5 stars. Why you ask? Well the author has an extraordinary imagination. The books were full of new and exciting things all the time. Never dull in anyway. The characters were fully developed and the story clipped along at a good pace. I couldn't put it down and read it in 3 days. So kudos to the author for a great adventure.
